What a private phinisi charter costs a couple, line by line

Gammara is chartered as one unit. The rate card has a band for 1 to 6 guests and a second band for 7 to 12, and a couple sits in the first. Nobody else is aboard, and the price stays where it is if you bring a second couple, up to six people.

• 3D2N: IDR 73,000,000 (≈ USD 4,479)
• 4D3N: IDR 100,000,000 (≈ USD 6,135), with a beach dinner setup
• 5D4N: IDR 135,000,000 (≈ USD 8,282)
• 6D5N: IDR 170,000,000 (≈ USD 10,429)

Going from three days to four adds 27 million rupiah. The next two steps add 35 million each. Split down the middle, the boat alone on 3D2N is IDR 36,500,000 (≈ USD 2,239) per partner.

Longer charters of 7D6N and 8D7N are quoted on request. Prices were checked on 3 November 2026 against the 2026 rate card.

Park tickets are never inside a charter fare. We quote them as one package per guest. On 3D2N it is 650 thousand rupiah per foreign guest and 350 thousand per Indonesian guest. On 4D3N it is 750 thousand and 350 thousand. On 5D4N and longer, the package is confirmed in your quote.

The package bundles the government entrance ticket with the ranger fee and local levies. The ticket alone is IDR 250,000 per foreign visitor per day under PP 36/2024, so the package is larger and is not the government ticket itself.

For a foreign couple that comes to 1.3 million rupiah on 3D2N and 1.5 million on 4D3N. On 5D4N and 6D5N the figure is written into your quote.

Tariffs belong to the park, not to us, and they move. Read the park fees page for the rules in force on the day you book.

The brochure lists what is in the charter. You get the harbour transfer, the crew and a cruise director, and three meals a day. You also get air-conditioned cabins with their own bathrooms, coffee, tea and mineral water without limit, snacks and fruit, towels, life jackets and snorkelling gear. On 4D3N and longer, a beach dinner setup joins the list.

Several lines sit outside it.

• Flights and hotel nights before or after the boat.
• A guide and photo or video documentation. On a private charter both are arranged on request and quoted separately.
• Honeymoon extras such as decoration, a cake, flowers or a photographer, also on request and quoted separately.
• Alcoholic drinks, tips for the crew and personal spending.
• Travel insurance, which we recommend, and dive insurance for anyone who dives.

Nothing is added to a fare without a written quote.

Pay a deposit of 50 percent to confirm the date. The balance falls due 30 days before departure. You can also settle the balance in Labuan Bajo on the departure day, in cash or on the card machine.

Three methods carry a fee. A card payment link costs 3 percent, PayPal costs 7.2 percent and the card machine costs 3 percent. Your own bank can add its charges on top.

On the 3D2N boat price alone, a card payment link adds about 2.19 million rupiah and PayPal about 5.26 million. That gap is worth a minute of thought before the deposit, not after the balance.

Booking runs through WhatsApp. We send the quote in writing and you confirm it there, with the payment method named, so the fee is known before the deposit moves.

Here are the sums for a foreign couple, with flights and hotels left out.

• 3D2N: the boat at IDR 73,000,000 (≈ USD 4,479) plus 1.3 million rupiah of park package is 74.3 million rupiah, or 37.15 million each.
• 4D3N: the boat at IDR 100,000,000 (≈ USD 6,135), plus 1.5 million rupiah of park package is 101.5 million rupiah, or 50.75 million each.

For contrast, take a Master Cabin for two on a shared 3D2N departure, which leaves on a Monday or a Friday. That costs 2 x IDR 8,100,000 (≈ USD 497), or 16.2 million rupiah, plus the same 1.3 million of park package. That is 17.5 million rupiah, with a guide and documentation included and other guests aboard.

For two, then, the private 3D2N costs more than four times as much. What that buys is an empty boat: six cabins, one lounge, one deck, and no strangers.

One concession points the other way. The whole-boat band covers six, so with six guests the 3D2N boat price falls to IDR 12,170,000 (≈ USD 747) each.
