Gammara Phinisi
A private phinisi honeymoon: the whole boat for two of you, priced in writing
Updated 3 November 2026
A honeymoon on a private boat in Komodo, on Gammara Phinisi, means the whole boat for two: IDR 73,000,000 (≈ USD 4,479) for 3D2N, or IDR 100,000,000 (≈ USD 6,135) for 4D3N, which adds the beach dinner. Six cabins, no other guests. Park tickets and a guide are separate.
A honeymoon laid out against sunrise and sunset
09:00 to 09:30, the meeting at Komodo Airport or your hotel. 10:00 to 11:00, the harbour at Labuan Bajo. On a private phinisi honeymoon we fix those hours with your date, so a late arrival never steals your first morning. Kelor's short hill, a snorkel at Manjarite, and then Kalong, where the sun goes down in August at 18:00 WITA. About 15 minutes later the bats rise from the mangroves. You watch from the boat. Two of you. No one else.
That night, and every night, the anchor goes down in a bay the captain picks after reading the weather. On day 2 the tender leaves about 65 minutes before sunrise, which in August is 06:12 WITA. Padar's viewpoint is 25 to 45 minutes' climb, and with no other guests on the steps you set the pace. Then Pink Beach for a snorkel, and Komodo Island on foot with a ranger. Sunrise first. Breakfast after.
Day 3 is the one a 3D2N trip never reaches. Taka Makassar and Manta Point in the morning, Sebayur after them, and as the light goes, the beach dinner. Day 4 is Kanawa, then the harbour at about midday. All of this is a sample: weather, tide and the captain decide the order, and nobody can promise you a manta.

Times are operating patterns, not a timetable. Pickup is the only promise we make by the clock.
The king bed upstairs: Jasmine or Lily
Upstairs there are two cabins, and each has a king bed. Jasmine, the Master Cabin, looks out through a panoramic ocean view. Lily, the Suite Cabin, has an ocean view. Both come with their own bathroom, a hot and cold shower and air conditioning.
Since the boat is yours, so is the choice, and neither costs more. Every cabin is part of your booking and none carries a surcharge. You will sleep in one. The other five stay shut for the whole trip.
Jasmine if you want the most glass. Lily if the same king bed and the same bathroom with an ocean view, rather than a panoramic one, suits you just as well. What a window looks at depends on where the boat lies that night; the brochure gives no bearing, and neither do we.
Below are the four Deluxe cabins: double beds, private bathrooms, air conditioning, no stated sea view. They come into it only if family or friends join you. For a honeymoon the upper deck is the point, because it is where you will spend the last of the evening and the first minutes after waking, and nobody else will climb those stairs.
Sand-table extras, quoted separately each time
For newlyweds, the brochure's most important sentence is a short one. A beach dinner setup comes with every private trip of 4D3N or longer. It names no beach, no hour, nothing about the table, and we are not going to fill those gaps with guesses.
On the sample it falls on the evening of day 3, after Sebayur, with tide, weather and the captain choosing the spot that day. Book 3D2N and there is no beach dinner; the open trip has none either. If the dinner is the reason you are coming, 4D3N is the shortest way to have it.
Beyond that is a separate conversation, and an unhurried one: sand kept for the two of you, a table dressed for the night, a meal shaped around what you like to eat. We arrange any of it on request and quote every item on its own before it goes in.
Sky note. Around new moon the nights are at their darkest. Send us your dates and we will look up the phase. If cloud comes over, nobody on board can shift it.
Flowers, cake, a photographer: priced before they are added
None of these is in the brochure. None is in the price. Flowers, a cake, decoration for the cabin or the deck, a photographer, a special dinner: each is arranged on request and quoted separately. Tell us the date and what you are picturing. We reply with a figure in writing, and nothing is added until you say yes.
Hold us to the written word and no further. Candles, petals and music are not promised, and no style is promised until you and we have agreed it in writing.
The private-charter price leaves out a guide and photo or video documentation as well; both can be quoted on request. A drone needs its own park permit, which sits outside the price; ask us. In fairness to the open trip, it does include a guide and documentation.
Alcohol is not in the fare. Ask. It will be quoted like everything else.
Free pickup
We collect you at Komodo Airport, at your hotel in Labuan Bajo or at the harbour, and send the pickup time to you in writing.
A Toyota HiAce for up to 12 seats or a larger coach can replace the standard vehicle; we quote the upgrade before it is added.
A dinner on a stretch of island kept for your party, planned with you and confirmed in writing before it is added.

On request — no fixed price
Ask the deskNewlywed arithmetic: 3D2N, 4D3N and two borrowed seats
Here is the price for two, in full. The whole boat, in its 1 to 6 guest band, costs IDR 73,000,000 (≈ USD 4,479) for 3D2N: IDR 36,500,000 (≈ USD 2,239) for each of you. For 4D3N it is IDR 100,000,000 (≈ USD 6,135), IDR 50,000,000 (≈ USD 3,067) each, with the beach dinner already inside. Checked on 3 November 2026.
The borrowed version is two seats on the open trip. Jasmine costs IDR 8,100,000 (≈ USD 497) per person for 3D2N, departing Monday & Friday, and the seat includes a guide and documentation. What you give up is clear enough: you share the boat with strangers, there is no dinner on the sand, and three days is as long as it gets.
Neither figure includes the park tickets (we quote them as a package with your trip), drinks, flights, hotels, insurance or crew tips, and the charter figure also leaves out a guide and documentation. 7D6N costs 205 million rupiah for one to six guests and 210 million for seven to twelve. 8D7N costs 240 million rupiah and 245 million. The boat sleeps twelve at most.
Your date is secured with 50 percent, and the rest is paid 30 days before you sail.

FAQ
Which of the two upper cabins should we ask for, and how soon should we write?
Jasmine if the wide window is what you want most; Lily if an ocean view will do. Each has a king bed, a private bathroom and air conditioning, and on a private charter you simply pick one. Get in touch once the wedding date is set. We check the boat live on WhatsApp, and 50 percent holds your dates.
Does the beach dinner come with every honeymoon charter?
It comes with private trips of 4D3N or longer, and on the sample route it falls on day 3. It does not come with 3D2N or with the open trip. The brochure prints the setup only, so place, style and extras are agreed with you and quoted separately before they are added.
What can we ask you to arrange for the two of us, and when is the price fixed?
Flowers, a cake, decoration, a special dinner and a photographer are arranged on request. We write the figure first, you accept it, and only then is it added to your booking. A drone needs a park permit, so ask us before you plan one. Nothing in this list is part of the whole-boat price.
Is the boat really only for the two of us?
The 1 to 6 guest band prices the whole boat, IDR 73,000,000 (≈ USD 4,479) for 3D2N, so no other guests sleep aboard. Six cabins, the dining lounge, the social deck and the paddle board are yours. The crew sail the boat and stay aboard throughout. Park tickets, a guide and documentation sit outside that price.
