The beach dinner setup is part of private trips of 4D3N or longer on Gammara Phinisi. A cake, decoration, a photographer, a larger vehicle or a private island dinner is arranged on request, and quoted separately before anything is added to your booking.
Arrangements beyond the sailing
The sailing is the part that is printed. The rest is arranged around it: the pickup, a larger vehicle, a dinner on sand, a cake, flowers, a photographer, a working session on board. Each is a service you ask for, and each is quoted before it joins your booking.
Three rules apply to all of them. Nothing is added without a written quote. Nothing is promised that we have not agreed in writing. And nothing here is in the boat price, except the transfer in Labuan Bajo and the beach dinner setup on private trips of 4D3N or longer.
The cards below list what we can arrange for a couple, a family, a team or a group of friends. Prices are not printed, because they depend on the headcount, the place and the season. The figure you receive is the figure you pay, and a quote costs you nothing.
Free pickup
We collect you at Komodo Airport, at your hotel in Labuan Bajo or at the harbour, and send the pickup time to you in writing.
A Toyota HiAce for up to 12 seats or a larger coach can replace the standard vehicle; we quote the upgrade before it is added.
A working session on the dining lounge or the social deck, or ashore, arranged on request and quoted before it is added.

Your transfer from Komodo Airport or your hotel in Labuan Bajo to the harbour is included. Meeting is between 09:00 and 09:30 on the day you sail, and boarding follows between 10:00 and 11:00. On a private charter we set the time with your date and send it in writing.
A car or a minibus is the standard vehicle. A Toyota HiAce for up to 12 seats, or a larger coach, can replace it. The upgrade is quoted before it is added, and it makes sense for a party of ten or twelve with luggage.
Coming home is the same service in reverse. On a 3D2N the boat is back at the harbour at about 12:00 on day 3, and the transfer takes you to the airport or your hotel. Flights should be booked after 15:00 on that day.
The sand dinner, and what a grander version adds
A beach dinner setup is part of every private trip of 4D3N or longer, and that is the only line about dinner on land. On the sample route it falls on day 3. It does not come with 3D2N, and it does not come with the open trip.
Nothing more is printed. It does not say which beach or which hour, nor what stands on the table. We say so rather than fill the gap with candles that nobody has promised.
A grander version is a separate arrangement: a stretch of island kept for your party alone, a seafood dinner ashore or on deck, or a dinner built around a diet, a birthday or a proposal. Each is arranged on request. Weather, tide and the captain decide whether the beach is possible on the day.
Cake, decoration, photographer: quoted, never assumed
A cake, flowers, cabin or deck decoration, and a photographer are not in the brochure, and so not in the price. You describe what you have in mind, and we quote it separately. If you do not accept the figure, nothing changes.
A guide and photo or video documentation are not in a private-charter price either. They are on request and quoted. The open trip includes both, because its fare is built for a shared boat.
A drone needs a park permit that is not part of any price. Ask us before you bring one. Alcoholic drinks are excluded from the fare, and we will tell you what can be arranged and what it costs before anything is added.
From your request to a written figure
Write to us on WhatsApp or through the form. Tell us the date, the number of guests and what you would like. We answer Daily 08:00–20:00 (WITA), and a quote follows within hours of the request, not days.
The quote names the service, the day it happens, the price in rupiah and what it covers. You reply with a yes or a change. Only then does it join the booking, and it is added to the figure you pay.
If the weather, the tide or the captain moves a plan on the day, we tell you what changed and what it means for the price. Where a service cannot happen, it is not charged. We confirm that in writing as well.
FAQ
Who guides us and who takes the photographs on a private charter?
Walks on Komodo Island and Rinca are with park rangers, whose charges sit in the park package we quote with your trip. A tour guide and photo or video documentation are not in a private-charter price. They are on request and quoted separately. The open trip includes a guide and documentation.
Can we have wine with the beach dinner?
Alcoholic drinks are excluded from the fare, and the brochure does not say the boat sells them. Ask us what can be arranged for your dinner. We quote it separately before it is added, and nothing arrives that you have not accepted in writing.
Is the airport pickup free, and can we have a bigger vehicle?
The transfer between Komodo Airport or your hotel in Labuan Bajo and the harbour is included. A Toyota HiAce for up to 12 seats, or a larger coach, is available on request and quoted before it is added. We confirm the pickup time in writing.
