Gammara Phinisi
Four days, three nights, and the one dinner on sand
Updated 3 November 2026
A 4 days 3 nights Komodo honeymoon with a beach dinner is the shortest private route on Gammara Phinisi that includes the dinner. The whole boat costs IDR 100,000,000 (≈ USD 6,135), which is IDR 50,000,000 (≈ USD 3,067) each for two. The route below is a sample, and the captain agrees the final order.
Why the fourth day brings the beach dinner
This whole page hangs on one printed line: on a private trip of 4D3N or longer, a beach dinner setup is included. Not on 3D2N, and not on the open trip. Four days is therefore the shortest way to get it, and the extra day is the price of admission.
The sample runs like this. Day 1, Kelor, Manjarite and sunset at Kalong. Day 2, first light on Padar, then Pink Beach and Komodo Island. Day 3, Taka Makassar, Manta Point and Sebayur, with the beach dinner to close. Day 4, Kanawa and the harbour around midday. We call it a sample because it is one; the captain settles the real order with the weather and tides.
We quote the 4D3N park package with your trip. A private charter does not include a guide or photo and video documentation, but we can price them. Mention them in your first message and they will sit on the quote as their own lines, with nothing sprung on you later.

These stops swap order with tide and wind: Manta Point ⇄ Taka Makassar.
Times are operating patterns, not a timetable. Pickup is the only promise we make by the clock.
First two nights echo the 3D2N light
The first two nights copy the three-day trip. Day 1 finishes at Kalong as the flying foxes stream out of the mangroves at dusk. Day 2 opens on Padar in the dark, headtorch on, shoes with grip. Anyone who has read the three-day page already knows these two days.
You spend every night at anchor, and the bay is the captain's call, made that day with the weather in view. Night three is no exception: dinner over, the boat goes quiet again wherever the captain has chosen.
The difference is speed. Three days squeezes Padar, Komodo, Taka Makassar, Manta Point and Kanawa into a day and a morning. With four, day 2 can stop after Komodo Island and the reefs get a day to themselves. More time swimming, one climb only, and never a hike and a swim crammed in before lunch.
Day three, after the last snorkel: a beach set for two
Kalong sunset, August: 18:00. We can give you the minute for your own month.
Day 3 of the sample is the dinner day. Taka Makassar and Manta Point take the morning, Sebayur's reef the afternoon, and a beach the evening. The crew set it up, and on 4D3N or longer it is already in the private fare.
What the table will look like, we cannot say. The brochure prints the setup and stops there, so we promise no candles, flowers, music or particular style. If you want decorations, a cake or a photographer, we arrange them and quote each separately in writing before anything is added.
Sky note. Clouds can hide the stars and the sunset alike. How dark the sky gets depends on the moon on your dates, and we can tell you that before you book.
Two guests, 4D3N, one figure in rupiah
One figure: IDR 100,000,000 (≈ USD 6,135) for the whole boat over 4D3N. It is the one-to-six band, so two people cover all of it and have the boat to themselves. Shared between you, IDR 50,000,000 (≈ USD 3,067) each.
Set it beside 3D2N at IDR 73,000,000 (≈ USD 4,479). The difference buys a fourth day and the beach dinner. All six cabins are still yours, with no surcharge on any.
Not in the figure: the park package (quoted with your trip), a guide, photo or video documentation, alcoholic drinks, flights, hotels, insurance and crew tips. The boat takes twelve guests at most. Price checked on 3 November 2026. Your written quote repeats it, line by line, beside the extras you ask for.

Sebayur's reef and a late, slow return
Sebayur, the larger of the islands that share its name, lies near Flores, about 90 minutes to 2 hours from the harbour. Beaches and reefs close by make it a good place to snorkel and to lay a dinner on the sand. Dragon trekking does not reach it.
Day 4 is slow by design. Kanawa, a small island west of Rinca, has white sand and shallow coral, the easiest swim of the trip. From there the boat heads home and reaches Labuan Bajo around midday. You settle the exact time with the captain; the open trip's 12:00 to 13:00 finish is a fair guide.
A flight after 15:00 that day is the comfortable choice, since a late lunch in town ends a honeymoon better than a dash to the airport. Flying earlier? Tell us when you first write, and the last morning will be built around it.
Adding nights to the charter before the deposit
Put 4D3N in the first message, with your dates, the number of guests and any day that cannot move. Thinking about a fourth night? Say so at the same time. That makes it the 5D4N route, which adds Rinca.
Our answer gives availability and a written quote, with the boat, the park package and each extra on separate lines. Your date is secured by a deposit of 50 percent; the balance is paid 30 days before you sail.
Without fixed dates, give us the month, and we will send its moon phase and sunset time. Near new moon the sky is at its darkest. A full moon drowns the faint stars but lights up the deck. One is not better than the other; they make different evenings.

FAQ
Which trips come with the beach dinner?
Any private trip of 4D3N or longer, according to the 2026 brochure, which prints a beach dinner setup for those. The 3D2N charter and the Monday and Friday open trip do not. On the sample route the dinner falls on day 3, and the captain agrees the beach.
Can we add flowers, a cake or a photographer to the dinner?
Yes, as extras. They are not in the brochure, so we arrange them on request and quote each one separately in writing before anything is added. We do not promise candles, music or a table style in advance.
Is the dinner on the same beach every time?
No beach is named in the brochure. The sample route places the dinner on day 3 near Sebayur, but weather and tides can move it. The captain decides the beach on the day, and we tell you as soon as we know.
