Gammara Phinisi
The seventh guest changes the price, and the table gets bigger
Updated 3 November 2026
A Komodo friends trip on a private phinisi takes 3 to 12 guests on Gammara Phinisi. Up to six share IDR 73,000,000 (≈ USD 4,479) for 3D2N, and the seventh guest moves the band to IDR 78,000,000 (≈ USD 4,785). Ten friends pay IDR 7,800,000 (≈ USD 479) each. Park tickets and a guide are extra.
Friends and relatives on twelve berths
Gammara sleeps 12 guests in 6 cabins, 2 to a cabin. The brochure lists no extra bed and no twin beds. Each cabin has one bed, a king upstairs or a double below, so a party of friends is a party of pairs.
Three friends take two cabins, and one of them has a cabin alone. Five take three. Eleven take six, and one of them sleeps alone. The arithmetic is dull, but it settles who shares a bed before anyone has paid a deposit.
All six cabins are yours on a private charter, with no cabin surcharge. Jasmine and Lily are on the upper deck, with ocean views, and four Deluxe cabins are below, without a sea view stated. Draw lots, or let the earliest to say yes choose first.
| Cabin | Rooms | Beds | Sleeps |
|---|---|---|---|
| Master Cabin Jasmine | 1 | 1 king bed | 2 |
| Suite Cabin Lily | 1 | 1 king bed | 2 |
| Deluxe Cabins Ivy, Azalea, Hazel and Iris | 4 | 1 double bed | 8 |
| Berths in total | 6 | 12 |
The seventh guest moves the price band
Gammara's rate card has two bands: 1 to 6 guests, and 7 to 12. For 3D2N the first is IDR 73,000,000 (≈ USD 4,479) and the second is IDR 78,000,000 (≈ USD 4,785). The seventh guest tips the party into the higher band, and it also makes everyone's share smaller.
Four friends, written out: IDR 18,250,000 (≈ USD 1,120) each. Six pay IDR 12,170,000 (≈ USD 747) each. Seven pay IDR 11,140,000 (≈ USD 683) each, which is less than six, because one more person splits a band that is only a little dearer. Ten pay IDR 7,800,000 (≈ USD 479) each, and twelve pay IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) each.
Per head, the price falls as the party grows, and it falls again at seven. A group of six that finds a seventh friend saves money per head. A group of seven that loses one pays less in total but more per head, so confirm the headcount before the deposit.
Park tickets, a guide, documentation and drinks are outside every figure above. Checked on 3 November 2026.

Four slow mornings for a table of friends
Four days suit a table of friends because the route has room. Day 1 starts late: meeting between 09:00 and 09:30, boarding between 10:00 and 11:00, then Kelor's short hill, a snorkel and sunset at Kalong. Day 2 is the only early start, with Padar at first light for whoever wants it and Pink Beach for everyone after.
Day 3 moves slowly through Taka Makassar, Manta Point and Sebayur, then ends with the beach dinner that comes with every private trip of 4D3N or longer. Day 4 ends at Kanawa and the harbour, at about midday.
Nobody has to climb Padar. The ones who stay behind have the boat and the paddle board to themselves. Stop order moves with tide and weather, and the captain decides on the day.
A 4D3N charter for 7 to 12 guests costs IDR 105,000,000 (≈ USD 6,442), and for up to six it is IDR 100,000,000 (≈ USD 6,135).

Lounge, social deck and paddle board
A dining lounge wrapped in large windows serves every meal. Breakfast, lunch and dinner come to the table, with coffee, tea and mineral water free-flow and snacks and fruit between. Twelve fit at the table.
Outside, the social deck is an open area for gathering, yoga, a BBQ on board, a movie night and a small private event. The brochure lists none of the equipment, so ask us what to bring for a movie. The paddle board is aboard, and so are snorkel gear and towels.
That is the whole list. There is no sound system, karaoke or party deck in the brochure, and this page will not invent one. What the boat offers a group is space, quiet and a shared table.
Fixing numbers and rooms before the deposit
Send us the headcount, the pairs and the trip length first. The band follows the number of guests, so tell us if the number can still change. If a friend drops out and the party falls from seven to six, the price moves down a band, and the change is confirmed in writing.
A deposit of 50 percent holds the date, and the balance is due 30 days before sailing. Passport or ID details for everyone are due seven days before, for the park and the harbour. Twelve guests is the ceiling. A larger party needs a second boat.
If the boat cannot sail before your date, we offer an equal or higher class phinisi on the same date at no extra charge, or a full refund. Once the conditions are met, the money normally returns within 2 x 24 hours.

FAQ
How do friends split the bill for the whole boat?
The boat has one price, set by the band: IDR 73,000,000 (≈ USD 4,479) for 1 to 6 guests or IDR 78,000,000 (≈ USD 4,785) for 7 to 12, on 3D2N. Divide it by the number of guests, as IDR 7,800,000 (≈ USD 479) each at ten. How friends settle between themselves is their business. We confirm the payment plan in writing before you pay.
Do friends have to share beds in the cabins?
Each cabin holds 2 guests and has one bed. Jasmine and Lily have a king. The four Deluxe cabins have a double. Twin beds are not listed. If two friends prefer a bed each, use one cabin per person while the party stays at 6 or fewer.
What if one friend drops out and we fall to six?
The band follows the number of guests, so six pay IDR 73,000,000 (≈ USD 4,479) instead of IDR 78,000,000 (≈ USD 4,785), and each share changes. Tell us as soon as the number moves. Any change after the deposit is confirmed in writing, and the cancellation terms apply to the guest who leaves.
